VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) – The Bank of America on Nimmo Parkway in Virginia Beach was robbed by two men Wednesday afternoon, according to police.
Jimmy Barnes with Virginia Beach Police said the suspects entered the bank at around 4:15 p.m. One suspect went behind the teller counter and took cash from the stations. Police told WAVY.com Wednesday they both had weapons, but no one was hurt during the crime.
Both suspects were described as being white males standing between 5’5″ and 5’8″ with small builds. One was wearing a blue/gray cap, black half balaclava face mask, blue sweatshirt with duct tape covering the logo on the front and back and blue jeans during the robbery. he also had sunglasses on top of his cap and carried a brown shoulder bag.
The second suspect was wearing a white/gray cap, black half balaclava face mask, blue Adidas jacket with white stripes and zipper, blue jeans and eye glasses. Witnesses reported he had possible acne scars or other skin blemishes on his left upper cheek.
