Rosacea is a facial skin disorder affecting 16 million Americans, according to The National Rosacea Society. Many people do not realize they have it.
The appearance on the skin is seen in reddish, acne-looking blotches commonly seen on the cheeks, forehead and chin. Additionally, some experience symptoms such as small, visible blood vessels, skin thickening, bumps or pimples on the face, burning, stinging, dry appearance, plaques, and swelling, as well as watery, irritated eyes.
