Acne is a pustular condition of the skin – an inflammation of the sebaceous glands that secrete a greasy, fatty material.

The fatty material accumulates in a hair follicle and excretory duct forming a blackhead, usually on the face, neck, chest and back.

Acne is often referred to as simply pimples.

The primary cause – as always – is toxaemia that originates in checked elimination of toxic wastes.

Secondary causes may be:

o Indigestion coupled with constipation.
o The consumption of unsuitable foods, especially carbohydrates and sugars, biscuits, cakes and pastries.
